Every morning when I wake I say this prayer, "Who is she that comes forth as the morning rising, fair as the moon, bright as the sun, terrible as an army set in battle array?  I take a deep breath in. And out. I bless and express gratitude for family, friends and students, drop my feet to the floor and begin. I am a firm believer that to open the day centered in prayer leads to intentional hours spent in service, truth and beauty. It is from this space all work is birthed. Whether it be a class, poem or conversation with a friend, the desire is the same...to let God's light shine through.

Drawing daily inspiration from the river, flowers and trees,  I am moved to be free, create and grow. Being in nature affirms my purpose to live and be the truth. To be kind and compassionate. To serve and lead with grace and humility.  And to remain young at heart...always ready and willing to be a little wild to have a whole lot of fun!

  • Roots & Wings

    Roots & Wings

Roots and Wings awakens readers to wisdom revealed in the woods. A collection of poems, each inspired by a tree, proclaims that there are messages all around us. Drawing on experiences with nature and with life itself, the author connects with Spirit, unveiling timeless truths about love and the Divine. Nature is forever offering the opportunity to become conscious of our surroundings, serving as a lens for transformation. We need only to open our hearts to see….to be among the trees is to be in the presence of God, on a path to seeking, discovering, and living the truth.

    Chasing the Truth

Chasing the Truth is the author’s personal story of being suppressed and depressed to being awake and alive. This book of poems is about seeking the truth through trials and errors, bumps and bruises, triumphs and love. It is an honest account of what we all go through as we learn the beautiful lessons life has to teach us. The truth is our best medicine… and to seek it, to speak it, to chase after it, the most noble endeavor on this thrilling ride we call life.

  • Becoming the Willow
