Be not afraid, be brave, be bold. Build for your heart a city of gold!

Growing up in Northeast Ohio, my days were spent playing in the trees and rivers of the Metroparks. In my youth, I dreamed of becoming a mother, a teacher and an actress.

Before becoming a writer, I was blessed to be a single mother to three spirited sons. I started a daily yoga practice, became a yoga teacher at 40 and untapped a brand-new voice. As I found my confidence in teaching and speaking, I began writing, and found my truest passion.

In hours of writing, I found myself doodling to relax and soon realized I loved to draw. In drawing, I wondered if I could paint? Soon I was painting friend’s hearts…colorful, whimsical depictions of their personality and essence. The freedom I feel when creating connects me deeper to the Divine.

To be a servant of Christ is to live a life of self-sacrifice and surrender to the ultimate will of God. In His name I long to live and be the truth, to create and share my gifts and to inspire kindness and courage to keep the faith. I intend to sprinkle joy, shine light and shower love to all! I am willing and at the ready to say yes to the Lord and be led down His path of promise and perfection.

Poet. Artist. Servant of Christ.

Oh how I long to be, as sturdy as the tallest tree,
in my power, yet able to bend,
for this is how my heart does mend.
